Evander Batson // hey, I am a second-year MFADT student. I have a background in fine art and the study of early civilizations. I am interested in aesthetics as a vehicle to explore and deepen our understanding of the phenomenology of the natural world. I enjoy making art, playing music (I’m in a local indie band), and designing for content-rich web experiences.
Inspiration
One case study that inspires me is “Plant Music” (1976) by artist Richard Lowenberg that explored using the EEG biofeedback readings from the human brain and houseplants to create video visuals and soundscapes.
I could not refrain from commenting. Exceptionally well written.
